Corporate Governance Structure of NICOL:

As per the Decree that created NICOL, NICOL is governed by a board of directors, appointed by the president of the Republic of Liberia; and headed by a chairman. The Corporation is managed by a Managing Director who is appointed by the President of the Republic of Liberia. The Managing Director is also a member of the board. The Managing Director is assisted by two Deputies. A Deputy Managing Director for Administration, and a Deputy Managing Director for Insurance. The Deputy Managing Director for Administration is the principal Deputy. The board appoints the Deputy Managing Directors as well as the Financial Comptroller and a legal counselor.
